Iranian top official has reported that Iran is in process to join such countries who have technical ability to construct nuclear power plants.

Mohammad Saeedi, Deputy Head of Iran Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) has given forecast for the Iran’s nuclear agenda. He has further added that the Islamic Republic will join an elite group of countries at any cost who are capable of developing nuclear power plants. Iran built its first nuclear reactor in its city of Bushehr with the help of Russia. Iranian official added that in 1997, IAEO officials gave assurance that it would take five to six years to master the lengthy nuclear fuel production process but today the agency believes that Iran would be able to build nuclear reactors within the next ten years.

According to Iranian nuclear officials, Iran has now almost 7,000 centrifuges installed at its Natanz facility. The West has accused Tehran of developing nuclear weapon but this allegation has been rejected by Iran.
