Global web community votes hostelworld.com as winner for award

(TDN):  The global web community has voted Hostelworld.com’s city video guides as the “Best Travel & Adventure Video” of the year in the Webby People’s Voice Awards. Hostelworld.com was the only winner based in Ireland to win a prestigious Webby Award.

Boeing to reduce production of 777 from 7 to 5 planes per month

US Boeing company’s officials said that it was reducing production of its 777 Boeing aircraft to 5 planes per month from 7 due to significant decline in the airline industry. Further said in a statement it would also postpone previous plans to increase production of its 747-8 and 767 aircrafts.

Scott Carson, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and chief executive. “These are extremely difficult economic times for our customers,” This is important to reduce our production of crafts according to supply due to the market conditions. But on the other hand, company officials said, “No change in the production rate of the 737 aircraft was being made at this time.”
