US employers laid off 467,000 jobs in June, hit a 26-year high unemployment rate: US Labor Department

(PTI): The US Labor Department says after American employers laid off 467,000 jobs in June, the rate of unemployment has hit a 26-year high of 9.5 percent.

US private sector cuts 491,000 jobs

(PTI): The US private sector cut 491,000 jobs in April to reach the lowest level since November 2008, a report by ADP Employer Services has shown.
